Ezra Klein, Matthew Yglesias, Ta-Nehisi Coates and a bunch of other liberal bloggers have compiled a top 10 list of books that influenced their thinking.
Every single one of those books looks boring as hell.

No shame to my game

I've been wondering a lot recently about the people who just can't get anything right, especially those who make obviously untrue claims about Obama and his policies. Now that health care reform has passed, it's going to become obvious to everyone that there are no death panels. When Obama's 8 years (here's to hope) are up and he hasn't sent soldiers door to door to collect "your guns" it is going to be obvious to everyone that stockpiled ammo that they were lied to. When he leaves office and no concentration camps for Republicans have been built, there should be a reckoning.
Will these people hold those who lied to them accountable?
The obvious tact is for the Sarah Palins and Glenn Becks to claim that your hyperventilating prevented the death panels, Obama taking your guns away and all the evils you blathered about. I'm thinking they won't go that route. I think they'll just go onto new fear mongering when Obama leaves office.
