Video died on me halfway through for some reason, but point taken. Some of the grumblings are not his fault. I made some of the mistakes Maddow points out myself. But I think she's ignoring the fact that the President picked us to go shopping, took us out and got us earrings and shoes and some wonderful chocolate we didn't even ask for, but what we really wanted, and what's really missing here, is the dress. Maybe we're being ungrateful, but I think it's understandable. People wanted Democracy restored. We wanted Guantanamo closed and apologized for. We wanted out of Iraq. We wanted the freedom that we lost under Bush returned to us. None of that has happened, and there is very little indication that it's going to happen. He appears to have chosen other battles. Is it any wonder people are feeling snubbed even as he busts ass for them?
Yes, I should have explicitly mentioned that of the things that people really wanted him to get done when they voted for him, he did manage that one and it was not easy. I think he won't get full credit for that before 2014 or 2015, because people need to experience the system first-hand and see how it works - there is a lot of confusion and misinformation out there right now.
the "Making Home Affordable" plan was a joke and disaster. our housing problems are a serious issue that people care about alot more than the media or politicians dare believe.
